Job Description: Machinist / CNC Programmer

Method Mfg is seeking a highly motivated and self-directed individual to join our team as a Machinist / CNC programmer. An ideal candidate is a process-driven team leader dedicated to continuous improvement and system development.  If you are passionate about manufacturing and bringing digital designs to life, this is the opportunity for you!


Responsibilities:
  • Oversee part production from start to finish.

  • Program, operate, and set up 3-axis and 5-axis machines.

  • Inspect parts from prints using hand-measuring tools.

  • Manage the development, implementation, and continual improvement of quality control and manufacturing processes.

  • Identify and perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.


Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of Fusion 360 CAM experience required.

  • Advanced knowledge of efficient programming workflows.

  • Ability to produce a part from print or CAD file.

  • Knowledge of Haas, Hurco, Brother Controls.

  • Proficient with the use of all hand measuring and inspection tools; gage pins, calipers, micrometers, etc.

  • Advanced knowledge of fixture design for large parts.

  • Advanced knowledge of 5 axis workflows.

  • Familiar with GD&T.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the strong ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members.

  • Proven track record in setting priorities; keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong ability to work independently, think critically and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of Lean.
